SCJF - Event Policies
EVENT SITE -- This is an outdoor styled event. Wickham Park Amphitheater provides a concert experience like no other. We encourage Space Coast Jazz Fest-goers to bring your lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the ground so as to enjoy the festival up-close and outdoors on the gently-sloping lawn. Seating is based on a first come first served basis. Arrive early for the best locations.
PAYMENTS -- The festival operates on a CASH ONLY day of event basis. Debit Cards and ATM card will not be able to be accepted inside the festival area. For your maximum enjoyment please plan accordingly...thanks!
FOOD AND BEVERAGES -- Will be available for purchase at the event. (See Below for additional info)
NOTICE -- The Space Coast Jazz Festival will be held rain or shine. No Refunds or Exchanges on purchased tickets will not be given in the event of Inclement weather. SCJF, it's staff, Sponsors and other related parties are not responsible for any Weather conditions, Time delays, Performance changes, Nature and/or Acts Of God.
WEATHER -- During the Space Coast Jazz Festival in Melbourne, FL...the typical October Space Coast area weather may be hot and sunny during the day near 80, then cool to cold at night near 65. Please dress accordingly. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and casual clothing. Remember to bring a Hat plus Sunscreen for the day and possibly a Jacket for the evening.
TICKETS -- General Admission tickets will be available for purchase at the main festival gate on the day of event on a CASH ONLY basis. Children age 12 and under are admitted Free only when accompanied by an adult holding a general admission ticket. NOTE: All patrons in the VIP area must have a VIP ticket regardless of age. All patrons must have a ticket for entrance into this event. SCJF Wristbands must be worn at all times while inside the festival area. SCJF is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or wristbands. Replacements will not be issued.
UMBRELLAS -- For the enjoyment of others around you umbrellas are discouraged. If you require an umbrella they Must be the small hand held or chair clip-on type only.....Beach umbrellas, tents, large freestanding umbrellas and/or canopies are prohibited. The SCJF reserves the right to not allow entry of selected umbrellas.
MERCHANDISE -- A variety of Artist CD's, T-shirts, and SCJF merchandise will be available for purchase day of event on a CASH ONLY basis. We encourage you to Support Jazz Music and Support the Artists.
COURTESY -- As a courtesy to fellow fans and our performing artists, please remember to turn off all cell phones & pagers during the Festival performances. Please refrain from talking during the performances. In addition, please do not wear extra large hats or sit on multiple cushions that block the view for the fans behind you. Remember all Tents, Canopies and Beach umbrellas are prohibited.
PATRONS -- In order to provide a safe and fun experience for everyone, the SCJF reserves the right to refuse entrance to anyone and eject anyone from the festival area for not following the SCJF rules. The SCJF is a family styled all-ages event, proper conduct, dress, and language is appreciated and will be enforced. Every person who enters the SCJF grounds is subject to search by authorities and/or SCJF staff for the safety of the event. The determination of the SCJF is final.
CAMERAS -- Still cameras are permitted, but camcorders and tape recorders are prohibited.
NOTE: Coolers, food, beverages, pets, bicycles, beach umbrellas, firearms, radios, camcorders, canopies, grills or barbeques are prohibited. No alcohol may be brought onto the festival area. Items deemed by SCJF to jeopardize safety are prohibited from being brought into the event. The determination of the SCJF is final.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICIES
We invite you to enjoy a wide variety of Food, Water, Sodas, Beer, Wine and more that will be available for purchase on a CASH ONLY basis at the Space Coast Jazz Festival.
As per the State of Florida and Brevard County...No food, glass, and/or containerized beverages cannot be brought into the festival area...with the exception of 1 un-opened plastic bottled water.
NOTE: Carry-In Bottles of water will be limited to 1 per person.
NO picnic baskets, coolers, beach umbrellas, grills or barbeques.
NO alcohol may be brought onto the festival area. Alcohol and containers will be disposed of at the main entrance gate before entrance and will not be returned.
Drinking and Driving -- SCJF cares about your safety. Please Don't drink and drive. Should you be unable to drive for any reason, please contact a SCJF attendant day of event for assistance in getting home.
